Crespaia is tradition: the Bianchello del Metauro DOC

Bianchello del Metauro: pride of the Northern Marches. Between myth and legend.

Although mostly a niche vine, Bianchello del Metauro has had an exponential growth in recent years, boasting numerous awards.

Today it brings extreme satisfaction to those who, like Crespaia , have always worked hard to make it become an emblem and symbol of the territory.

The first source that speaks of it is the Roman historian Tacitus : the Romans would have won the Battle of the Metauro (river that crosses the valley where the Bianchello grows) thanks to the Bianchello del Metauro , defeating the army of Asdrubale, who, he says, he had raised his elbow a little too much the night before.

For years forgotten and left aside, in 1969 it was officially included in the Italian DOC list and its great value was recognized.

Hearing this story and the value that Bianchello has for our lands, how is it possible not to think of enhancing it and making it great?

Crespaia , with its two variants of Crespaia Bianco and Chiaraluce . Try to understand it, emphasize it and make it an innovative product , able to talk about the history of a land that can be anything but forgotten.

Contact us and come and visit us , we will be ready to share with you the magic of our territory and an organic wine from the Marche region, which boasts a centuries-old history and still leads us to "raise the elbow a little too much" .

Soon!

cheers!
